I can see that scenario as being more fact than fiction. But hell we have been giving our industrial base and selling our souls by means of loans to China for decades prior to Zero.

Whether we like it or not both of our economies are tied together and stopping imports from China would destroy our economy as well as theirs. I do not just mean the messed up economy we have now, I mean total collapse as in our dollar would be better used for starting a fire.
The solution is to make sure companies find it more lucrative to set up shop in the US. This way we can preserve our economy and keep goods going out to the people as we slowly get away from cheap imports from China.

As soon as the cold war ended I said it was not a victory, in fact I got in an argument with someone I work with. He viewed the cold war as a head to head confrontation between the US and the USSR, I viewed it as a battle of ideologies. It was plain as the nose on my face that as the creeping socialism of the sixties turned into the outright global socialism of the eighties and nineties that the battle of ideology had been lost.
That said I no longer view Obama as a socialist. I think his ideology more resembles fascism but why split hairs? Tyranny is tyranny whether it is the tyranny of socialism, fascism or the tyranny of the majority (democracy).

If the Fed did not repay the debt to China, (default) the U.S. credit rating would go down (a lot) the t-bills would be worthless, and then the Dollar would be exposed as the worthless fiat currency that it is,the Fed would go bankrupt in about 24 hours, and then general chaos would ensue, which is, I think, the “end game” so to speak that the globalists have in mind. The national debt USED to be owed to American banks. (1990’s) after that the Fed found out they could deficit spend EVEN MORE by selling the debt to foreign governments. NOW we (the people) owe foreigners, not ourselves trillions of dollars. (p.s. I NEVER voted to go into debt)
People, all of this has been in the works for a VERY long time, (80+ years) we are just into the final stages of this. (globalism) Marxists/Gramscites, Anarchists, Gay activists, Feminists, Environmentalists, etc. are just tools of the Globalists.
The most effective way to fight back against this tyranny will be to stop feeding the beast. We need to stop paying taxes, or at least severely limit what we pay. Buy used off Craig’s List, or at the Goodwill store whenever you can. Limit large purchases. Buy on Amazon when you can too, if you buy a certain amount you don’t even have to pay shipping and no taxes.
I know this sounds nuts to some people but this is VERY effective. The US savings rate has skyrocketed since late 2008 and this is having a huge impact on tax revenues.
Also encourage your state government to consider re-affirming your states 10th amendment rights, and to consider secession when the time comes.
I think these are the most effective things we can do, especially my first suggestion. They don’t care about our protests, they are way beyond giving a shit what we think when they can use ACORN to steal elections and gerrymander to their hearts content.
I agree regarding the taxes. If enough people would get on board and hike their exemptions up we could choke them. I have suggested creating a movement to do this …quit paying them..set the money aside. I would think that if enough people did this in unison it would make an impact. No taxation without representation.
