Breaking: Honduras Scrambles Jets To Block Landing Of Ousted Marxist Dictator

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – Honduras braced for confrontation Sunday as ousted President Manuel Zelaya insisted on coming home to reclaim his post, urging his supporters to mass at the airport for a showdown with the interim government in power since the army sent him into exile a week ago.

The interim government said it ordered the military to prevent the landing of a plane carrying Zelaya or any unidentified plane. The air force immediately began patrolling the skies around the airport.

“The government of President (Roberto) Micheletti has order the armed forces and the police not to allow the entrance of any plane bringing the former leader,” the foreign minister of the interim government, Enrique Ortez, told The Associated Press on Sunday.

At the main Tegucigalpa airport, soldiers outnumbered travelers and commercial flights were canceled after a final morning departure. Access roads were cut off by police checkpoints, with soldiers standing guard alongside.

The poor Central American country’s Roman Catholic archbishop and its human right commissioner urged Zelaya to stay away, warning that his return could spark bloodshed. The interim government said it would arrest Zelaya and put him on trial despite near-universal international condemnation of the coup that removed him as he campaigned to revise the constitution.

In Washington, the Organization of American States suspended Honduras as a member late Saturday. Micheletti preemptively pulled out of the OAS hours earlier rather than comply with an ultimatum that Zelaya be restored.

On Saturday, Zelaya posted an audio message on the Internet urging loyalists to greet his arrival in a peaceful show of force.

“We are going to show up at the Honduras International Airport in Tegucigalpa … and on Sunday we will be in Tegucigalpa,” Zelaya said in the taped statement carried on the Web sites of the Telesur and Cubadebate media outlets. “Practice what I have always preached, which is nonviolence.”

Zelaya supporters gathered Sunday morning at a university on the south side of the capital and planned to march to the airport.

“We have no pistols or arms, just our principles,” said Rafael Alegria, a prominent pro-Zelaya protest organizer. “We have the legitimate right to fight for the defense of democracy and to restore President Zelaya.”

In comments to a local radio station, Zelaya said he would be accompanied by Argentine President Cristina Fernandez, Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa, several foreign ministers and 300 journalists.

But Zelaya’s plans remained quite fluid early Sunday, and Fernandez said as she exited the diplomatic meeting in Washington that no other presidents would fly with him into Honduras. OAS Secretary-General Jose Miguel Insulza said it wasn’t yet clear whether he would accompany Zelaya, either. Fernandez, Correa and Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo planned a joint news conference at Ecuador’s embassy in Washington to explain their plans.

Catholic Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez implored Zelaya not to confront the interim government, saying in a statement broadcast Saturday that “your return to the country could unleash a bloodbath.”

The country’s new government has vowed to arrest Zelaya for 18 alleged criminal acts including treason and failing to implement more than 80 laws approved by Congress since taking office in 2006.

Large crowds of Zelaya’s critics have staged their own daily demonstrations to back Micheletti, the congressional president who was named by lawmakers to finish out the final six months of the Zelaya’s term.

Most of the ousted leader’s supporters come from the working and middle classes of this impoverished nation, while his opponents are based in the ranks of the well-to-do—although the increasingly leftist approach of the wealthy rancher had eroded his popular support.

The military ousted Zelaya with the backing of Honduras’ political establishment, including the Supreme Court, Congress and Zelaya’s own party. He was insisting on following through with a referendum on constitutional change that the Supreme Court ruled illegal.

But by sending soldiers to shoot up the presidential residence and fly Zelaya into exile, the Micheletti government has brought itself universal condemnations from the United Nations and OAS. No nation has recognized the new government; U.S. President Barack Obama has united with conservative Alvaro Uribe of Colombia and leftist Hugo Chavez of Venezuela in criticism.

The OAS had given the Honduran government until Saturday to reinstate Zelaya, and sent two emergency missions to Honduras in hopes of heading off an escalation. But Micheletti pointedly rejected the group’s demands.

“It is very clear that in the de facto government, there is no willingness to change its conduct,” Jose Miguel Insulza said in urging Honduras’ suspension.

Thirty-three nations voted for the suspension, with Honduras abstaining. It was the first time the OAS suspended a member nation over a military coup since 1990, when Haiti was punished for Gen. Raoul Cedras’ putsch against President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

    What Honduras is going through is too eerily similar to what is in store for us. This should be a wake-up call for any who is intelligent to see it for what it is – freedom is not free and you must be willing to take ACTION to protect it.

    This is what happens when the US reduces itself to a third world Nation. It used to be that America stood tall for constitutional law and supported those who sought freedom. Now with the asshole in office we have our nation no longer stands for freedom, but side-by-side with Marxist dictators and terrorist states.
    There is no political solution to our circumstances. Our military must act now to remove the usurper and begin the restoration of our republic. We are ready, willing and able to assist as a civilian force, we await the call.

    This blog exclusively informed the world that a strange cocaine pipeline originated out of South America last year, just after Obama’s agents showed up there promising that Barack Obama would be in the White House in 2009, months before the election.

    This Obama pipeline is one which opened up a new route into Europe, through Obama’s west Africa, and into Richard Holbrooke’s favorite Islamocommunist beachhead in Europe of Albania and Kosovo.
    A pipeline like this invading the old European axis and Russian mafia routes just does not happen with all of the parties signing off and getting a massive cut. The only reason this story surfaced was the BBC was screeching about it, because the the British were being cut out of the deal as this should have gone through the traditional London hub and then into New Amsterdam.
    The new route cuts out the British and funnels directly into the Russian, German, Italian and Greek mafias for greater profits.

    It all fits in the way Obama has been humiliating and screwing over the British peoples.

    New evidence in this though has surfaced from Honduran Foreign Minister Enrique Ortez speaking on CNN Espanol.
    Mr. Ortez stated that communist Zelaya who was just legally removed from their executive branch was joined at the hip in the international cocaine trade. The evidence shown states that the Drug Enforcement Agency of the United States knows this because the Honduran Government turned the information over to the Americans.
    Yet, there sits Barack Obama once again the friend of terrorists, the friend of thugs like Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega and Fidel Castro, trying to get an international drug dealer back into power in Honduras to enslave those brave and noble people.

    What is telling in this is all the regional neighbors of Honduras know what communist Zelaya has been up to in four plane loads of narcotics and laundered money arrived daily inside Honduras as Zelaya was a mule. The person who has the bridle and spurs mounted upon Zelaya is none other than Hugo Chavez. Yes, the narcotics flowing into Honduras daily are coming directly out of Venezuela. That amount of traffic, just like in Cuba and Nicaragua proves one thing, this is state sponsored narco trafficking.

    See one must understand that Cuba for years was the hub of the illegal drug trade to which the New York financial cartel was laundering and skimming money from for immense profits. The same Rockefeller group is linked to the same Rothschild group in Europe laundering billions of dollars in opium, diamonds, white slave traffic out of the Slavic states and weapons of mass destruction sales.
    If one brushes the surface, one finds readily that Barack Obama for his Senate bid was financed by the wife of Saddam Hussein’s banker through a Panamanian front. Obama’s mentor in terrorist control agent, Bill Ayers is a direct ambassador to Venezuela and Hugo Chavez.

    These criminals are all legal criminals because of their international connections to those who rape world economies. Few people know that George Soros who is the sponsor of Barack Obama’s presidential theft in America, concluded not long ago that drugs should be legalized out of South America.
    Who do you think gave that mission to the United Nations?

    The cartel invested huge sums of money and power to get this pipeline up and running in the growing axis of nation rapists plundering all the resources of comrade states in Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Nicaragua, Cuba and Honduras.
    Venezuela is waking up in rejecting the pretty communist who blushed her way onto that stage and Honduras is awakened in saving their nation and people from a fate that is the worst of all in a clone of Mugabe Obama and Fidel Chavez.

    Americans must not ignore this and they must make this issue known. Ronald Reagan ordered monumental support for our American brothers south of our border. There are honest Americans in DEA, CIA, FBI, the Pentagon, etc… who know very well the pipeline is the reason Obama is on this vector and it’s criminal flow is poisoning American children, our economy and funding the very international globalists who are raping the world.

    This blog fully supports that wonderful nation and people of Honduras in their Constitutional Law of removing a criminal lunatic who was running dope and attempting to enslave those Honduran American Patriots.
