    actually this is the future of media. they can’t afford to do real journalism like our media does. japanese media uses toys to tell the story. our media are toys used by the powers that be. which is more disturbing?

    Maybe I have had too many drinks tonight, but was that remark intended to be ironic?!

    Real journalism?! That died in this country before the last T-Rex pitched over.

    As re our media being toys used by the powers that be…you’re right. That, in itself, is profoundly disturbing.

    There’s a challenge in that. Can anyone on this site name someone that they truly feel is a journalist in the truest sense of the word?

    I’m not talking some paid mouthpiece like Sean Hannity, who himself says he isn’t a journalist. I mean an honest, genuinely “fair and balanced” unbiased reporter who goes for the facts, the truth, and doesn’t pander to party politics???

    Cause I for sure haven’t seen ONE in my 48 years!

    …although recently I am paying closer attention to Lou Dobbs.

      I’ll give you that one. I rarely think of old Hem as a journalist (his third wife was the better journalist), but he was unbiased. :beer:
