Those counties and localities that receive fed aid are minorities, single-parent families and such. Yes, the folks who received more before and after Big Zero are that same ones who rely on gov't aid- as Pat says, they're liberals who cannot take care of themselves. Of course these folks voted for Big Zero, because they want more goodies from those evil, rich whites. It makes sense, and is probably not political. They have BIG signs saying your stimulus money at work or to that effect. I guess I should be sooooooo thankful, because now I can drive on new paved roads. They are also the slowest at fixing roads of anywhere, I have ever seen. I do notice there are a lot of people from other states moving here. BUT the small mom/pop businesses are going out of business rapidly. I know here in Illinois, I think they are repaving every road in the state.
