“Michael Moore Gets It Wrong”: Big Fat F- Makes New Movie Promoting The Abolition Of Capitalism

Michael Moore has been working on another documentary. This time, he’s taking on capitalism:

“The wealthy, at some point, decided they didn’t have enough wealth. They wanted more — a lot more. So they systematically set about to fleece the American people out of their hard-earned money.”

How ridiculous is that? The wealthy, and everyone else, almost always decide that they don’t have enough wealth. People ask their bosses for raises. We invest in stocks hoping for bigger returns than Treasury Bonds bring. “Greed” is a constant. The beauty of free markets, when government doesn’t meddle in them, is that they turn this greed into a phenomenal force for good. The way to win big money is to serve your customers well. Profit-seeking entrepreneurs have given us better products, shorter work days, extended lives, and more opportunities to write the script of our own life.

On Thursday, Moore announced the title of the movie: Capitalism: A Love Story.

It’s a title I might have picked to make a point opposite of what I assume Moore has in mind.

Moore also fails to understand is that it was not “capitalism” run amok that caused today’s financial problems. In reality, it was a combination of ill-conceived government policies and an overzealous Federal Reserve artificially lowering interest rates to fuel a bubble in the housing market. Then it was government that took money from taxpayers and forced banks to accept it.

Moore ought to understand that, because he makes a good point when he says his movie will be about “the biggest robbery in the history of this country – the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions.”

That is indeed robbery. It sure doesn’t sound like capitalism.

    This is the enemy and he would be the enemy if he were ripped like Arnold in Conan the Barbarian.

    In another post there was talk of sheep dogs as if every danger to the sheep could be found in white fangs and bristling fur.

    Michael Moore is a disease every bit as deadly as a thin, wiry Jihadi with a bomb vest.

    If we are to combat this enemy we need, somehow, to get at least some of the excellent videos Pat as put up here into as many hearts and minds as Michael Moore’s crap.

    It’s all good to be a sheep dog until the sheep see you as dangerous as the wolves and all three miss the disease lurking in the tall, succulent grass stems.

    Michael Moore is a parasite on the body of Capitalism and is unaware that his fortune, his power is based on it. Michael Moore would sizzle and pop in Libya or Pakistan or, hell, Akron, OH.

    Muzzle velocity and clip capacity will not cure this disease though, yes, sure, we all might dream of his ‘target rich acreage’. His chair is large enough for any number of disease carriers like him to occupy.

    And so it goes…

    This is one time I am hoping that all the research done showing obesity to be a major contributing factor to skyrocketing health care costs would result in Michael Moore being the poster child for doing something to bring down those costs! Without a doubt, his “carbon footprint” could use major downsizing!!

      There isn’t any silver lining in Obamacare. Yes they may ration obese people, which isn’t right. They will also be rationing others. Your Mother and Fathers, Aunts and Uncles, your granparents. Why? Because they are getting older. It’s called Utilitarian Bioethics. Culling the herd. Legalized murder where YOU and I will be accessories if we don’t stop it. Nothing funny or great about it! Not a topic for jokes! I’ve worked in healthcare for 30 years and this scares the hell outta me!

      He’s going to be one of those guys that eats himself into his house and has to be lifted by a crane to get weighed at the zoo scales (the only ones with the capacity for obesity). Then off to a triple bed hospital with exercise and a 1200 calorie diet. As in Brookhaven obesity clinic. I’d put in an icon, but I don’t see a barfing one.

    Moore is like a dragon protecting his hoarde of treasure. He’s just laying on all his money like a mound of gold coins, telling all who pass a false story of how he came across and accumulated so much wealth, so that no one else would ever be able to aquire more than he. He says greed is rampant in capitalism, ok, so then we must assume that moore is incredibly greedy and fleecing the market he aquired his riches from, all the while lying about how rich he is and how evil his competitors are, i.e. procapitalists. michael moore sees wealth as power, thats why he assaults those who attempt aquire it, because he doesnt want them to be more powerful than he is. It seems so fitting that he is a gigantic jaba the hut.
