Let me break this down so even the dumbest fuckers can get it. The really good healthcare insurance is provided by employers as a BENEFIT not a RIGHT. An employee goes to the BENEFITS Manager to make selections about the coverage they want. There’s no such thing a RIGHTS Manger.
1. LARGE companies and governments that provide EXCELLENT, low cost healthcare BENEFITS to their employees are SELF INSURED! They pay the bills themselves through a company that LOOKS and acts just like an insurance company e.g. Blue Cross, Eatna, Cigna. It costs a lot of fucking money but it’s a lot cheaper than BUYING actual insurance.
1.a. Because, if a company buys actual insurance the cost is ALL of what the insurance is likely to pay in claims for employees, PLUS a sir charge just in case they have to pay more, PLUS a GIANT PREMIUM aka profit for the insurance company. Oh, and they keep what they collect and don’t spend in paying claims.
2. In the self-insured plan, there is generally a “stop loss” plan (actual insurance with a high deductible, say $25-$50K per occurrence) in place for catastrophic injuries and illnesses such as being beaten and robbed by an obamabot, or assed raped by an obamabot and you catch the butt flu.
3. Small companies, that can afford it, buy actual “group” health plans. This is where they can participate (pay large premiums) into a large cash pool of other contributing small companies for actual high deductible insurance policies with limited coverage. The insurance companies are essentially creating an enormous jackpot for themselves that a lot of small businesses ante into. The insurance companies make the rules and they fix the bet. They always win!
4. There is no such thing as FREE or even affordable healthcare insurance! Someone (you and me) has to pay for it and it will NEVER be the insurance company.
Dumbass Obama and others like him think that magic money exists to pay for all the shit that should be FREE.
In any event the healthcare BENEFIT was created by large companies to attract and retain the best and brightest employees. The dumbest fuckers among us want to turn the BENEFIT into a RIGHT.
