Obama Calls Cop But Still Believes There Was “Overreaction” In Gates Arrest

“Lord knows we need it right now [unity] because, over the last two days as we have discussed this issue, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but nobody’s been paying much attention to health care.” Point proven.

“…be mindful of the fact that, because of our history, because of the difficulties of the past, um, y’know, African Americans are sensitive to these issues.”

No sir, guess he was right about not hearing anything Jeremiah Wright said in his church all of those 20 years he sat in the pews….

    Few points…
 “I continue to believe, based on what I’ve heard there was an over reaction in pulling Professor Gates out of his home to the station.”
Okay, he DOES believe the police over reacted.

 “I also continue to believe, based on what I’ve heard, that Professor Gates PROBABLY over reacted as well.”
BUT Prof. Gates maybe over reacted? For sure the police did but still siding with Gates.

 “My hope is as a consequence of this event, this ends up being what’s called a teachable moment. Where all of us instead of pumping up the volume, spend a little more time listening to each other.”
So wait, who exactly “pumped up the volume” on this? What’s this we and us shit?

 “The fact that this has become such a big issue I think is indicative of the fact that race is still a troubling aspect of our society.”
In this case it appears race was an issue for one of the two sides. What’s indicative is a portion of our society uses race as a crutch or an excuse, while the vast majority of society is colorblind and respects character. No matter how you try to reposition it Mr. Obama, your words, your statement, your belief was racial and an over reaction. The American people, nor the African-American community force you to choose sides and make a public accusation, that was all you. Appears to me someone needs to look in the mirror and ask if he has trouble being racially biased. Character not skin color Mr. Obama, character.

The Cops have an Audio recording of the incident proving Sgt. Crowley’s version of events correct.

Apparently when Prof. Gates started screaming, Sgt. Crowley “keyed” his radio microphone.

The MSM hasn’t asked about this, but I’ve heard this from multiple sources.

    Plus…

No way Obama makes that phone call unless he and his buddy, Prof. Gates are about to look very foolish.

    It adds up for me.

His silly assed comics and obfuscations at his press conference are an affront to honesty and ethics in government service. Not only is he the President but he is an attorney. He knows better and like everything else his decisions are will calculated.

During his press conference he never accepted responsibility, he babbled on about it but never said I was wrong and that officer did a very good job. My friend played the race card.

Then he has the absolute gaul to invite Sergeant Crowley and the defendant for a beer at the White House. That is a white flag to mitigate a lawsuit and save that racist bastard friend of his’ ass and phony ass career in African American studies.

Then Obama wants to school us again. What a livid liar and phony.

“According to the Somerville Times in 2007, as a Harvard Law School student, Obama got 17 parking tickets during 1989-1991 from the Cambridge Police Department that he left unpaid until just weeks before he announced his bid for the presidency. “
