Politico: “I don’t know if anybody else will meet their future wife or husband in class like I did, but I’m sure that you’re all going to have wonderful careers,” he said as he warmed up the audience before delivering a commencement speech at an economics school in Moscow Tuesday. Obama seemed to be playing off an introduction that referred to him meeting his future wife, Michelle Robinson, while he was a student. But the truth is that the couple met not “in class” but at a law firm in Chicago, Sidley Austin, in 1989.

    Perhaps the reality of the situation is that he did meet Michelle in class, and lied about meeting her for the first time at a law firm……….

    The thoughts to ponder on this are two. First, if he did “forget”, this says a lot about his mental capacity for long term memory. If he can’t remember this small fact, what else can’t he remember. Oh wait, that’s why he’s got fifty million staff members and teams in his administration……..

    The other thought is, if he in fact did lie about it, why would he lie about such a trivial fact? Is there more to the meeting of Michelle, or was he just lying to gain “bonus points” with students, thus again altering the past to suit his purpose?

    And that’s another thing. What’s the deal with him always giving speeches to University students? Are those who are out of college not important anymore, and he’s just trying to “win over” their favor, since they are the “future”?

    Maybe the “ugly wife” headline is unnecessary, but…I think this shows someone who is a pathological liar. I sincerely doubt he even realizes he is lying half of the time. It’s habitual.

    He was introduced to Meanchelle by a friend of hers at the Law Firm where they worked. That is fact and I can dig it up if someone wants it. He is a compulsive liar about everything, so this is no surprise.
