Politico:

Conservative leaders will push delay any vote on health care reform until after the August recess to capitalize on what they say is a growing tide of opposition to reform measures, they said on a conference call with “tea party” participants today.

“I can almost guarantee you this thing won’t pass before August, and if we can hold it back until we go home for a month’s break in August,” members of Congress will hear from “outraged” constituents, South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint said on the call, which was organized by the group Conservatives for Patients Rights.

“Senators and Congressmen will come back in September afraid to vote against the American people,” DeMint predicted, adding that “this health care issue Is D-Day for freedom in America.”

“If we’re able to stop Obama on this it will be his Waterloo. It will break him,” he said.

The founder of Conservatives for Patients Rights told the 104 participants in the call, which was organized to coincide with the National Tea Party Patriots group’s protests at the offices of members of Congress today, that polling suggests majorities oppose a “government take-over,” which is how Scott’s group casts the Obama plan.

Rep. Mike Pence, also on the call, also said the tide is turning.

“Every single day more dems are expressing op to government-run health care,” he said.

    The rats are jumping ship,HA!
I seen were BO’s approval rating is at 52. And we all know if they are saying 52 it really means 47 or lower.

And it’s dropping like a rock! I’m hoping that the more it continues to drop, the more the MSM will start bailing on the usurper and talking about all the negatives.

Maybe if we all buy trucks from this guy, it’ll send a clear message to the traitors in Washington:

CNN anchor thinks the idea is “irresponsible” and having a weapon for self defense is not a “good argument.”

DeMint is a true Patriot who follows our Constitution to a “T”.

That CNN anchor is an airhead. Hats off to the truck dealer, he’s got the right attitude on shit.

This we line them up, as long as they have ammo too.

Ok, He’s Mark Muller, owner of MAX Motors. He has 6 dealerships.

Mr. Muller swatted her down with outstanding casualness. “You don’t have a problem with God do you?” was my favorite comeback.

Cool adaptation. But who are the owls? Is there
      some apocalyptic reference intended?

jrc: the owls represent part of the group of world leaders that meet in the Bohemian Grove in California once a year. For more infro go to infrowars.com Alex managed to sneak in once and film part of their weird ritual.

 CALL CALL Write write your reps; seek them out during recess. They DO respond to written, mailed letters, telephone calls, and eyeball time during visits back home. I once went to a Rep’s house during recess. He was impressed that I was there and polite. DeMint is a good man. I hope he runs with Palin on the next ticket, if we have one. Do not give up. This has to stop. It can be stopped. :!:

    • Steven D

I hope Demint runs at the top of the ticket.

I’m proud that he’s one of my Senators. I’m not so proud of my other Senator, Lindsey Graham.

For those of you who pray, please keep Senator Demint in your prayers.

Politicians payed to vote “yes” on climate bill in the House? You decide:

Big Dem cash dump on eve of climate vote

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/glennthrush/0709/Big_Dem_cash_dump_on_eve_of_climate_vote.html?showall

House Energy and Commerce Henry Waxman gave at least $16,000 to yes-voters on June, 25, FEC records show.

A Waxman campaign spokesman said the payouts were part of the usual “end-of-quarter activity.”

Ken Spain, communications director of the National Republican Congressional Committee emails this response:

“If this was a concerted effort by the Democratic leadership to purchase votes for Nancy Pelosi’s national energy tax at the eleventh hour, then it is unconscionable at best and corrupt at worst. The sad fact for those Democrats who were seemingly bought and paid for, is that it will take a lot more money than they received to defend such an atrocious vote.”

    • Indy

Don’t forget that POS from Palm Springs Bono. She absolutely needs to go.

    • Steven D

      You forgot Bawney Fwank.

      Cleaning house is right.

We have to vote ALL of them out (okay, MOST - I really like Jim Demint) and start fresh.

You want to make a real change in America? Quit voting for lawyers and other assorted scumbags.

    • Steven D

OOPS, now I see Frank. My bad.

Savage was right when he said “Liberialism is a Mental Disease” read the comments on Politico. Are we banging our head against the wall?

    • Sully

      No.
      Politico is a leftist rag.
Like the STATE-RUN media, they are dedicated to moving ‘the center’ of American politics as far left as they can move it.

    • Hoisting the leftists on their own petards, like Politico, and twisting the blade is one of the great joys of PD.com.

I agree with and applaud De Mint on seeing and noting that delay is quite likely defeat for the Obama Regime.

That guy that runs this place deserves some credit, as well, for noting early on that this Regime’s otherwise ridiculous plot depended on “the Beauty of Speed”. Slow them down enough for thoughtful, albeit not politically or historically savvy, people to catch on and their schemes are in real trouble.

I struggle against contempt for these people, but we must buy them the time and provide them the information to congeal their thoughts and trust that their numbers added to ours will win the era if not the election cycle.

I was with our local TEA party people today(Albuquerque). We assembled peacefully outside our Senators office to protest HELLTH care reform.Wasn’t long before local PoPo showed up and tried to run us off.One red haired granny was ready to be dragged off in cuffs.I’m telling you people are fed up and ready to take it to the next level.LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTION… :gun:

    • Tim Roesch

Let’s hear more about this. Let’s get names and badge numbers and numbers of the politicians.

      Let’s set loose the deluge!

Does the ‘granny’ need some support mail and calls?
Do people from NM need to show up in even larger numbers?

Hell, set up a day and I might travel across the US to be there for a good rally.

  10. David B in Texas

Jim DeMint most definitely a good man speaking up for Americans and fighting to preserve our Constitution.!

  11. Hawkerdriver (Pisson the Koran

HELLTH reform must die. Agreed.Lets not let our officials forget the American people’s posit on the Tax and Kill Bill the environmental nazis want to slip through. They might just succeed too if we don’t keep up the fire on this issue as well.

Birth certificate too! This is the one that will unravel this o so corrupt regime.Just need to find where the little boy is holding his finger in the dyke.(I know, great hand off for napolitano jokes….GO !)

  12. Rick C

The “It will break him” comment may have a bigger meaning.

One thing we can’t lose sight of is that Obama most likely has serious psychological issues. Defeat and unpopularity may affect him in a different and much more devastating fashion than a mentally stable person.

I can’t wait to see this little bitch break!

    • copperpeony

There’s been a lot of reports on his narcisstic, sociopathic personality. He wants to be crowned “king”.

I totally agree with you..his downfall will be his unpopularity. Thats why the polls are rigged in his favor by the left.

When he breaks, it will be worse than tempered glass shattering into a million pieces.

    • Deborah

I agree Rick, I fear this man. Now that his popularity is below 50, I wonder and fear what cruelty he will inflict on Americans.
When will the Bilderberg realize they picked the wrong puppet?
