      I’m sure they did. The NASA politicians cost us a fortune. They are in a different world from corporate contractors that are actually in business, OMG, to make a product at a profit. Everybody loves the 600$ toilet seat. Well I can tell you a manuf.assby designed by gov’t for the spacestation had 45$ worth of parts, by the time the parts were tested, the manfg process inspected by G12, use of gov’t vehicle for travel, his meal expenses,then the finished product tested it was 300$.
      And the idiots designed it wrong, it was never used.

    SpaceX is charging 8 or 9 million for about 500-1000Kg into orbit. That’s nothing compared to the major launch service providers. I think the next step up is a Delta or Atlas for something like 80 million per launch.
