Evil Shadow Government Czar Linked To Racist Boycott Of Glenn Beck

A racially charged activist group called “Color of Change” founded by Van Jones, a special advisor to the Obama Administration, is trying to silence popular radio and Fox News personality Glenn Beck by calling for a boycott of Beck’s TV advertisers.

On July 28th, Beck made a comment on the Fox & Friends morning show about Obama’s reaction to the arrest of Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. During the discussion of “Professor-Gate,” Beck connected the President’s past association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright to Obama’s comment that Cambridge police officer, Sgt. James Crowley, acted stupidly. Though Beck acknowledged most of the Obama administration is in fact white, he concluded that the President’s world experience made him a “racist.”

Now “Color of Change” has bullied at least five of Beck’s big advertisers — SC Johnson, Progressive Insurance, Geico, Procter & Gamble and Nexus Lexis — to pull their ads from Beck’s national cable program. Jones, the founder of “Color of Change,” was named Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality — a key administrative post — this past March.

Putting tax-payer dollars to dubious use, the not-for-profit organization has hired well-heeled Hollywood publicist Ken Sunshine to further instigate the boycott.

      All these companies mentioned, especially PROGRESSIVE insurance( no accident in the naming of this company btw) are hard left. It is no surprise they agreed to pull support. Just remember, economic warfare cuts both ways. A boycott of companies who boycott is in order, WITH notification of same and WHY given to said corporations.

    I just told my State Farm agent this afternoon that my wife and I are finding another insurance company. I’ve been with State Farm since I was 16, and I am almost 44 now. The agent I talked to didn’t even know State Farm was dropping their support of Glenn, so I sent her a bunch of links, along with a link to colorofchange.org, and told her this is being brought on by a devout communist who is now Joker’s green jobs czar. I told her I support companies who support Americans, and boycott those who will bow to communists.

      We have insurance with ‘Farm Bureau’ – Here in Virginia we get great prices, great service. (You don’t need to be a farmer)

      I need to do some research on my insurance company, but USAA is awesome. Does anyone know if they are boycotting or if they are still sane? This is the insurance company used by a lot of military. In fact, you had to be associated with the military to use them for a long time.

    These are supposed to be profit motivated enterprises. If they kowtow to the bullying freaks, they forfeit millions of impressions on their most valuable demographic targets.

    Are these corporations now owned by Obama too? Or do they have any concern for their bottom lines?

      The boycott will not only fall flat, but based on his ratings the backlash will be significant against these companies if they don’t drop the boycott, even so they need to disclose any strong-arming from the administration or connected groups.

      Boycott all of the above. SC Johnson also has a ‘sister’: Johnson-Diversey. They sell cleaning chemicals to industrial/institutional settings. I’ve been spending about $10 grand a year with them, looks like the end is now: time to switch amufacturers/distributors/vendors. Lots of competition in that field, no problem finding cleaning ‘solutions’ (inside joke, enjoy, JD, you lost me and soon others.
      Hit em where it hurts: the bottom line. They’re deeply engrained in government pork. Hit em in the pocketbook. Tough running a business when there’s dwindling revenues…

    So…an employee of the United States Government, working for the president of the United States, is calling for a Boycott of a American Companies because they support an entity that dares to speak the truth about the current administration.

    Am I reading this wrong? Why is this guy still employed? The lines between activisim and government service are blurred.

    With the ratings Glenn gets even at that particular time of day are so large they should attract other advertisers. They are just going to make the numbers grow even larger if Glenn is taken off, but they will show up at Washington, townhall meetings and at the voting booth. They are definitely afraid of us. Keep up the pressure. When they bully women, little old ladies/grandmas, and elderly/ill, they are in deeper trouble. If you are younger and at these functions, help those who are defenseless except for their voice, but willing to speak up.

      Dirtman, the wife and I switched our house and cars to Farm Bureau. They are based out of Iowa, and they are very responsive.
      What pisses me off the most about this “Boycot” is this Van Jones USING TAXPAYER money, TO SILENCE A PATRIOT!!! :mad: :gun:

    I have geico. They are cheap, have never had to use them.
    Have to write letters of support to who ever still advertises with Glenn.

    This blows. I have been with State Farm for quite a long time. I am contacting my representative and inform him we will be cancelling our policies. I am not going to sit on my ass and allow the government to oppress free speech. They may have taxpayers dollars but it is the consumer who ultimately has the real power.

    I didn’t know P&G was a libtard company. I’m selling my stock today. People say don’t make investment decisions because of emotions but it was emotions and principles that got me out of GE before the crash, I sold when I found out they were doing business with Iran. I’m too small a stockholder for P&G to care but maybe a whole bunch of us will sell.
