CNN Throws A Giant Sh*t Fit Over Armed Protesters Greeting The Joker

I f-ing love my home town.
The fact that CNN is even putting this on the news show’s it’s attempts to demonize the right and their practices. Sure it states in the article that there was nothing illegal about it, but taken into consideration that there is nothing illegal about it makes you wonder why it’s a big deal in the first place. People do legal things all the time without national media covering them. This article was designed to victimize The Joker in showing that “maybe these people want to hurt him” and demonize people who carry weapons (ie. conservatives) for “being threatening, violent extremists”. These men were carrying weapons obviously not to do harm (as no harm was inflicted), but to protect themselves in the case that harm may be done to them. I mean, we all know what happens to unsuspecting conservative protesters, and given that recent event, can you blame them for wanting to defend themselves in case a rabid mob of brownshirts tries to strongarm them into silence? These men are (no offense to them) not news worthy because they did nothing inside or outside the law that is noteworthy, unless you are a liberal spin artist. I’ll admit, they did a good job in showing support for the Second Amendment, so you should focus on if anything, that aspect of this event. Furthermore, the article makes no mention that the protesting assault rifle-wielding man appears to be black. Draw up your own conclusion as to what that means, and I’ll give you a hint: I’m not being racist.
PHOENIX, Arizona — A man toting an assault rifle was among a dozen protesters carrying weapons while demonstrating outside President Obama’s speech to veterans on Monday, but no laws were broken. It was the second instance in recent days in which weapons have been seen near presidential events.
Video from the protest in Phoenix, Arizona, shows the man standing with other protesters, with the rifle slung over his right shoulder.
Phoenix police said authorities monitored about a dozen people carrying weapons while peacefully demonstrating.
“It was a group interested in exercising the right to bear arms,” police spokesman Sgt. Andy Hill said.
Arizona law has nothing in the books regulating assault rifles, and only requires permits for carrying concealed weapons. So despite the man’s proximity to the president, there were no charges or arrests to be made. Hill said officers explained the law to some people who were upset about the presence of weapons at the protest.
