As a computer professional, in my estimation, this is chilling, chilling to the bone.
Consider this…
A dealer clicks and accepts these conditions, to allow the Federal Government to essentially own/read/copy that computer and its data. This would include any servers on that dealer’s network. That means EVERY computer on that network is now fair game for the Feds to copy and study as well.
Let’s go one more step:
Most computers are connected to the Internet.
Are you on the Internet right now?
Guess what, technically, you are on that guy’s network as well. Inadvertently, that guy just allowed the Federal Government into YOUR computer!
That is all they need. A simple legal paragraph like that can open Pandora’s Box right into your life.
How many other computers in the Government have the same or similar language associated with them? Big Brother is breathing, saving and tabulating your every move on the Internet and in your life.
There is far too much data to process your life in real time, but they can now fabricate almost anything about you with the data they will have in their data banks, if they have not done so already.
