On A Personal Note: We’re Sorry For The Inconvenience – Updated With Greywolfe’s Take

Hello all. As you may have noticed, the past two weeks have been difficult for Pat, Grey, and I here on the site. We have been the target of a series of attacks on the webfront, and as you probably have already seen, and even on a financial front as well. The cyber attacks consist of a variety of things, from hurting our end in the form of slowing down editing tools, making the site almost impossible to update at times, to hurting our most important aspect: you. DoS, or Denial of Service attacks make up the bulk of what has been hindering your access to the site, which has reached a point so critical that none of us here were able to access the site for most of the weekend. Mind you, this won’t affect your computer in any other way and it is not malicious and does not spread viruses, it simply acts to deny your viewing of our site.
We’ve had our techies work round the clock, and finally, we have updated and switched to new, less problematic and susceptible servers, I find myself (obviously) back on-line, and that will hopefully be the end of it. I wanted to keep you all informed of the happenings around here, so as not to worry our dedicated Patriots and readers. Pat, Greywolfe, MD Vet, and I will be hitting the site again hard, making up for lost time and missed opportunities now that we are up and running normal again.
However, it is entirely possible that our political enemies, be them official or otherwise (I mean this with absolutely no intent to start or perpetuate a conspiracy theory, but when we know something, so will you), will attempt to sabotage our Patriotic service and vision of Freedom yet again, and we are taking every necessary action to strengthen ourselves and our services to prevent another incident.
If you are reading this now, thank you for not losing faith in our abilities and our services. We have not lost hope in and abandoned our cause, as some have speculated, and both this site and ACTIVE will again be run and maintained to the standards we have before set and you have come to expect. Official jargon aside, my deepest personal apologies for the craziness surrounding the incidents. This weekend sucked. I promise we’ll return full strength from our setbacks, and possibly bust a hacker or two’s head along the way. Thanks again and always, Patriots!

If You Speak Out, Look Out
The best way for a person that is in opposition to the powers that be to determine their effectiveness can be found in the amount of resistance one receives in answer to his efforts. This can be illustrated simply by the Pat Dollard sites. Let’s review the last 3 months, the day that Twitter and other social sites got hit, PatDollard.com also got hacked. Site operation has been disrupted ever since. Then, due to “someones” complaint, Pat’s paypal account was suspended last week, due to his site being “anti-Muslim”. I would like to point out that it’s not anti Muslim, it is however, anti-Islamo-fascist and anti-Jihadi.
And now, starting 2 days ago, we received a DOS attack (denial of service) designed to shut us down. This morning, sometime after 5 a.m. both the Active site and PatDollard.com were both brought down and are still shut down.
The interesting thing is, one of the last posts that I put up on Pat Dollard’s site was the article by CNET about the bill that would give Barry direct control of the Internet. I do not believe in coincidence.
Understand patriots, if you come onto the opposition’s radar, you will be targeted and every attempt will be made to shut you down. Pat says things on his site that most are not willing to. The fact that he allows me to post my observations without editing to make it politically “safe” is a testament to his willingness to push the bounds of Truth. To get messages out there, that the Left doesn’t want spoken.
His effectiveness is the reason that both Patdollard.com and accdf.com have been targeted. The war is on, patriots. Make yourself ready.
