This censorship & re-writing of history has been going on for a long time. IMO its been part of the socialist/communist plan to under mind & destroy the ideology of America & Freedom.

Before/after
I know some crazy folk take political correctness so far it’s difficult to tell it from satire. But words matter …
For instance …
If I worked for the Fire Department, it wouldn’t take long for me to become pissed off with being called a Firewoman. So why should I be surprised if female colleague would rather that we were all called Firefighters rather than Firemen. Surely just a bit of common sense to reflect the changes in society.

I agree, and so when the history books are written for this period in our futures history, this PC shit will be part of it, HOWEVER! there were no women in the Founding Fathers, back in the day there were no women who were Policemen, Airmen, chairman, congressman, fisherman, freshman. These terms are such because back in history women didn’t & essentially couldn’t hold these positions. THAT IS HISTORY so report the facts & live in today.
They want to erase the facts & terrible events of history like the world is just one happy little blue ball in space.

I see what you are saying, but that’s only half of the story. The documenting of history should be from a neutral position, but it tends to get written from just one perspective – primarily male one.
The attendees to the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 were indeed all men, but the building of America from the bottom up was achieved by the whole population. It’s just that the female contribution goes largely undocumented.

“The documenting of history should be from a neutral position”
How would that change the fact that they were all men? No offense but this is the exact same BS argument the people who advocate the ‘re-writing’ of history use.
“It’s just that the female contribution goes largely undocumented.”
Now this is the bottom line fact and is true for the majority of history. Of course the number of women who were allowed to learn to read & write during those times in history were few & far in between meaning that the only history writers were men.
I agree life is not fair and never will be especially in the history books, however if just the facts were reported in history books students could at least draw their own conclusions.
