Kennedy, Roosevelt, Lincoln — President Obama matched them all.

At least that is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s take on the president’s health care speech Wednesday night.

“Last night, President Obama delivered what I believe to be one of the greatest speeches ever delivered in the Congress of the United States,” the speaker told reporters Thursday at her weekly Capitol Hill press conference.

The California Democrat applauded Mr. Obama for speaking with “great eloquence and connecting with the American people and their aspirations.”

“He talked about his vision for America and the character of our country. He demonstrated knowledge and judgment on an issue of concern to America’s families — health care,” she said.

    You know what – on another site they suggested we stop on our way home from work and buy a jug of booze and then watch BHO’s speech. Every time Pelosi blinked we were supposed to take a drink and every time she jumped up and clapped we had to do a double.     Maybe in the afterlife he will meet up and get to debate Ronald Reagan in the Heaven vs Hell weekly debate. Of course, being in hell he will be without his precious teleprompter and notes and have a hot poker shoved up his nether regions when he throws out those filler “Um” and “Uh” tidbits that fully demonstrate his inability to think on his feet. He can read, but then I know lots of small children who could also read his speeches quite eloquently.
