Student Stabbed To Death In Florida School
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Police have identified the student stabbed to death at Coral Gables Sr. High School and contacted the parents. Police have also detained a suspect, and students are safe in school while authorities have locked it down for their investigation.
Miami-Dade Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the deadly stabbing that unfolded in the courtyard of the school when two students got into a fight, witnesses said. The school is located at 450 Bird Road. Police have announced the arrest of one person, who they have identified as a student.
According to a student at the school, two students got into a fight near the cafeteria and one of the students stabbed the other. Police have yet to confirm this information, at this time.
Miami-Dade Schools Police are allowing parents to pick up their kids, but when the children will be released is unknown at this time. Authorities said the pick up will take place on Riviera Drive just south of Bird Road, near the school’s baseball field.
One frantic parent said she has not spoken to her child who attends the school and officials from the school are not telling her much. “They told me that the school is on lock down and that there was an incident inside the school,” she said.

Coral Gables is actually a pretty nice little hamlet.
Been on Bird Rd many times. All the houses are old Spanish style Architecture. Mostly Cubans Brazilians and Argentinians live there.
