Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) in .30 caliber (1906) magazine fed (20 rounds) shoulder held, gas operated. Excellent weapon. Clyde Barrow’s personal favorite. My Father-in-law used one on Iwo Jima in 1945. Interesting to me however is the assertion that the officers were all on the left side of the vehicle. I count at least 15 rounds in the front windshield, right where Bonnie Parker was sitting.

“It didn’t seem advisable to fire just one bullet..”
It never is. If it’s worth shooting once, it’s worth shooting twice, it’s worth shooting three times.

Talk of overkill reminds me of Men at Work’s hit record “Overkill”.
