      We must really be careful especially now to objectivly look at what things were and are and come to the right conclusions free of bias and knee jerk reactions.

      You ignore the fundamental tenet, the cornerstone, of ‘Nationalism’ which is a very strong central government.
      There have been and are numerous variants of that but it does not apply to our founders.
      It does apply to Progressives like Obama who are indeed subverting economic power (stimulus, cap/tax, health care) into the national political power necessary to redistribute wealth and eventually abrogate American sovereignty to a ‘new world order’.

      The cornerstone of Nationalism is the belief in the people of the Nation as a body of strenth character and honor. The Nationalist belives the power lies within the poeple of the Nation.

      The governments role is to harness that creative genius into a strong unified force.

      You would be surprised to learn that National Socialist Germany did NOT have a strong central government. That it actually still operated under the Weimar Constitution for its Legal system.

      It was broken into different Gaus or States all with individual Gailieters or Governers and was based on Guess what? The United States as envisioned by the US Founding Fathers
