Books Palin Cover

NEW YORK – You know the title, now see the cover of Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue.”

The former Alaska governor’s memoir, a top-seller online weeks before publication, will feature an outdoor shot of Palin, wearing an American flag pin on her red fleece top, eyes turned slightly from the camera as she smiles confidently into the horizon, a patchwork of Alaska blue sky and clouds behind her.

The image was released Thursday by Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins.

The book, originally planned for next spring, is coming out Nov. 17 with an announced first printing of 1.5 million copies. Palin and collaborator Lynn Vincent finished “Going Rogue” just two months after Palin’s resignation as governor.

I’m not sure where she is going politically. Where ever she lands, I (almost) feel sorry for the Progressives. After she was ambushed by Charlie and Katie she will come back stronger, steelier, less deferential to assinine questions. Her acceptance speech at the convention still blows me away. She learns very quickly, and under pressure is very cool but passionate and sincere. I believe she has the spine of a “Mama Grizzly”. She is polished, poised and confident and I would stack her up against Mr. Obama/Mr. Biden (again) any day. When she does comeback, she will be the poster child for “where preparation meets opportunity”. I hope she doesn’t allow herself to “be handled” because that is where she is hobbled. Let Sarah be Sarah and get her the hell away from the RINO’s. She connects with the real power in this country – the working men and women of this country. She is not an elitist. I wish her well.
