On 9 November I will be starting a new postion at Edwards AFB. It is an aircraft pneudraulic mechanic job on aircraft. It is a “status” position. The status being up to 30 percent service connected disabled and the other helper being retired from the Armed Forces of The United States. It is a definite improvment over being on the aircraft industry roller coaster here in Wichita. I got laid off in February. The unemployment is gone and we are making it on my retirement and our savings. The savings will be gone when we complete the move. But there will be a paycheck.
For those in the private sector, oh well. Been there, tired of it.

It’ll be interesting to see how long Californians will suffer the socialist fools they’ve elected to every level of office.

Right now I believe most voters out here are experiencing what I call “battered voter’s syndrome”. It’s not the guy they personally voted for, it’s it’s all the other rotten bastards that everyone else voted for.
