Now, some reading this will think, “Ok, what’s the big deal?” I’ll state it plainly. The big deal is that at no point in history has The United States of America had a President who has intentionally done so much to damage our society through the disguise of ‘change’. Never in our history have we had such a do nothing, including the Carter years, who has intentionally ignored his responsibilities to this country. And yet, he plays one hell of a golf game instead of making the difficult decisions.

Let’s not forget that he still has done nothing about the request for more troops in Afghanistan. Let’s not forget that he has attempted to intimidate a portion of the media into furthering his agenda, and then intentionally tried to destroy that portion of media because they would not capitulate. Let us not forget that every critic that has stood up and voiced opinion contrary to this President has faced accusations of racism, nazism, etc. FORE! Go ahead Shankapatamus, play through. God forbid we get hit in the back of the head.

President Barack Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he’s already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years.

CBS’ Mark Knoller — an unofficial documentarian and statistician of all things White House-related — wrote on his Twitter feed that, “Today – Obama ties Pres. Bush in the number of rounds of golf played in office: 24.

Took Bush 2 yrs & 10 months.”

This news comes on the heels of today’s news that Obama played golf with a woman — chief domestic policy adviser Melody Barnes — for the first time since taking office.
