    THE PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THAT NOBODY IS STOPPING ANYONE FROM JOINING THE MILITARY. THEY JUST CANT OPENLY GO AROUND BEING GAY. WHATS THE PROBLEM HERE. WHAT DO THESE PEOPLE THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN IF THIS GETS APPROVED. THAT THEY CAN RUN AROUND IN PINK UNIFORMS AND DO WHAT THEY WANT. THEY ARE STILL GOING TO HAVE TO FOLLOW ALL REGULATIONS AND THE UCMJ. AND THEN WHAT. IM NOT SHOWERING IN THE FIELD WITH AN OPENLY GAY MAN. THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO SET UP SEPERATE FACILITIES FOR GAYS. SO A TOTAL OF 4 DIFFERENT FACILTIES. AND IF THEY ALLOW GAY MEN TO SHOWER WITH THE NORMAL MEN, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE EVERYTHING ELSE COED. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS IN THE MILITARY.

      As posted beofre in the past months, I have proudly served in the Marines and the Army, and knew gay personnel in both branches, of both sexes.

      Most of the time they practiced the dont ask dont tell, almost every one else knew who the gays were, and really did not care one way or the other. I would rather be in war and have Martinez or a couple of the other “closet” gays at my back that to be in the Muslim community of Detroit, D.C. and have Barney Frank or Harry Reid at my back…

      I am willing to bet Pat knows some gay military members, even if he doesn’t know they are gay.

      I really could care less whether someone is gay or not. What I care about is those who have different lifestyles than I do that keep demanding that I actively support their way of life, or that I have to openly support what they do, and that I have to allow my son to be exposed to their beliefs against my will.

      That is what the liberals are up to, forcing the fringe life styles on the rest of us.

      I have gay friend here in Cleveland, in fact several neighbors are gay. I trust my 8 year old son with them, as they are AGAINST NAMBLA.

      That is one of the ideas we need to get out there. I know of plenty of conservatives that have no beef at all with any alternative lifestyle practitioners, except for folks like the NAMBLA folks, the ones that want to prey on the young and gullible.

      We want to be able to raise our children in our beliefs. If they choose to follow differently when they become consenting adults, that is their right, but again, WHEN THEY BECOME CONSENTING ADULTS!!!

      And before someone jumps on that, I am also in support of protecting children when they are in unsafe family conditions.

      anyway, time to get off my soap box, and get back to work, while I still have a job
