you armor helicopters, you reduce its performance….there is only a certain type to put on there which is expensive…the best protection for helicopters is to allow the pilot to fly it to the best of his ability!

What do these dumb motherfuckers expect when they let cartels become so powerful – and I am tired of people saying that “the people” don’t want it, because only “the people” can grant such power to a handful of barbarians by condoning, and even promoting, what they do.

Besides,the policia and the cartels are synonymous in South America

Some info about this:

1. There were 2 choppers in this operation, one armored. The unarmored one was shot down.

2. There were 6 policemen in the shot down chopper. Unfortunetely 2 of them died when the chopper exploded after the pilot managed to make a forced landing in a nearby soccer field.

3. To say that drug gangs and police are the same is huge simplification of the issue. Reality is much,much complex…

4. This event is no surprise for anyone who follows the news in Brazil, Rio in particular. After decades or relative impunity granted by leftist local governments, the current administration decided to make its own version of the “surge”, and this, as anyone can imagine, implies in an increase in human losses in boh sides

5. Good news is that, is this very same opearation, 10 gang members were killed ! :gun: :beer: :gun: :beer: :gun: :beer:

Unless gangs in America are dealt with, this may be our future.
