Photo-op taken during Obama’s phony, rushed, 25-minute meeting with General McChrystal, aboard an Air Force One impatiently waiting to leave. At the meeting’s conclusion, the genral was shown the door to the lonely tarmac.
Why does Obama have to be shown the way to behave as Commander in Chief by average citizens? I guarantee you, politics, not propriety, dictated Obama’s Air Force One, month and a half-delayed meeting with Gen. McChrystal. He was only responding to pressure in the media to be responsible in light of his dereliction of duty.
WASHINGTON (AP) – President Barack Obama and his top Afghan war commander met privately aboard Air Force One Friday for a talk the White House described as productive.
The 25-minute meeting with Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, aboard Air Force One as it waited to carry the president home from Denmark, gave Obama a chance to step outside the circle of advisers he has convened to study the problem of Afghanistan.
