    Shop at lowe’s instead

Home Depot has always been a bit of a libtard store. I met the vice president of Home Depot while consulting as an Owner Site Representative (threshold inspector). Wanna talk Ted Turner wannabe? Their whole management structure is. At least those that I met.

Home Depot is also on a list of companies hiring illegals, so this is right in line with the way they think. I haven’t been setting foot in any of their stores when I learned this and never will.

    I’m a Lowes man myself

Son of a bitch! Big corporations such as lowes, home depot and walmart are what is left now that the mom and pop hardware and specialty stores have been exterminated by the meglomarts. They impose the amoral liberal morality from their corporate offices. Passive and neutral, shelves stocked with low quality china products, I am always angered when I have to patronize these whore houses.

uclimbit: you can always go to your local True Value franchise. They have all the merchandise anyone could want, except for what they don’t have. And they have it from any country you want it from as long as it’s China.

I am hardly defending Lowe’s or Home Despot, but face facts: finding anything made here, or in not-China is becoming virtually impossible. We regulated, fined, licensed, taxed, unionized, and jailed our industries right off our shores.

Your friends and neighbors voted in the people who legislated the jobs and factories away. They voted in the people who decided that 1/2″ stack of government forms from 1965 should now be 3 ft high. They voted in the folks who require all manner of permits, certificates, licenses, and inspections for things that did not require them in the past. They decided that someone wielding a screwdriver on an assembly line warrants more pay than an IMT or a fireman.

As for me, I don’t like shopping in such places either, but given the present climate of grinding the small businessman under the jackboot of city hall and the various legislative bodies, I’ve no choice.
