    In Japanese culture a bow is used for many occasions and is not always an expression of submissiveness as in our culture. Therefore what Obama did was respect the mans culture. The same thing that Akihito did when he offered a handshake to obama. Handshaking is foreign to Japanese culture, he respected obama with a handshake and Obama did so with a bow.

    according to bushido code, u have to bow, like a 10 degree one, and keep eyes on the one greeted as a sign of respect. even a head-nod will do, if you plan to go local style greeting.
    this, i dont know, it looks submissive. maybe Mrs bigfoot dint give the one the spanking that he asked for. and habbits are hard to break as u know :)

    A head nod=ok, licking the top of the shoes=kiss @ss subserviant weakling. The world better use this time to kick our collective @sses while they can. Too bad Putin can’t be our President, at least he represents and stands up for his peoples interest! The Kenyan only has 3 yrs left then he gets the boot. Too bad it will take 6 years to dig out from his selling out America and its interest.
