Where is Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in this?You cant have a circus without the clowns.We have our first black or half black President in office and this is how some black people are still acting like nothing has changed.Take pride in this President and stop embarassing this man.For every step he takes forward you have people like Acorn setting him back three steps.How patheticaly sad.I sometimes feel sorry for Obama because of these types of people.Help the man,stop hurting him.Peace out.

The constitutional argument made by ACORN is nuts. There is no bill of attainer involved here, just a ocntractor relationship that Congress can terminate. There is, however, a danger that the Democrats in Congress will play a game, wringing their hands about the “strong position” set forth by ACORN in order to backtrack on defunding ACORN.

Bullshit. ACORN is a contractor and congress can pay or not pay them at will. Same as every other group that has a contract with the government.

That part of the constitution addresses criminal statutes. Congress can not make a law that says members of ACORN automatically go to jail. It DOES NOT mean congress can not cut off funding. The constitution taken as a whole; however, gives congress NO authority to ever provide funds to ACORN or any of the thousands of other purposes and recipients that are on the dole.
