How is he a traitor? If you are defining someone as being a traitor for not doing in the best interests of the country everyone who has been in politics would be a traitor.
Oh and kicking him out of Congress would probably be considered illegal. I believe elected officials even need to be voted out of office or impeached and this guy hasn’t broken any laws.
Please use common sense before getting so radical. If you disagree with his position fine, but don’t start calling for treason because of it. It is ridiculous. At least you didn’t start calling him racist thing like some idiots have.

This turd voted once it reached the magic 218 mark, one of the few votes remaining. Why did he wait if he was voting “in the best interests of his constituents”? Timing is VERY revealing of his motivation and his convictions, he hadn’t the balls to be one of the votes to push it to 218, just a weak-spine to vote after the fact, hoping no one notices or cares. Now he becomes a pawn for the Dems and a finger in the eye of all that worked hard to kill NanziCare. Any republican that would vote for THIS monstrosity is not a republican nor conservative. He’s no different than Specter in my view, he voted for HIS best interests to bolster his re-election, pure and simple. He is weak, not that I expect everyone to follow the party-line 100% of the time, but on this clearly important issue that went beyond the party-line into a broad majority of Americans, he caved… because he is a spineless politician of which we do not need.

Rep. Asshat (R) is weak and represents a traditionally democrat district. He was the only republican that voted for it, but only after the yeas passed the threshold. Why did he wait? If his convictions were that strong to meet the wishes of his constituents, why didn’t he vote earlier? Those remaining votes are usually those that wait and see how the vote goes so they can vote with the majority, in other words a political vote. He was courted by the left because they wanted to get one weak republican to vote yes to humiliate the republican leadership. My belief is that Rep. Asshat (R) was promised pork and less opposition to him come election…but dems don’t keep their promises.
Without rehashing arguments, this version of HCR will end up hurting his constituents more and keep them perpetually dependent on the system. In fact, it will force everyone to depend on the system. Spread the wealth, spread the misery.
