Because she’s only 22 years old and hasn’t learned that sometimes, you just need to step out of the spotlight and go away for a while when you have lots of skeletons in your closet that are being drug out one by one. She looks older than she is, but her brain is still developing.
I really admired her after the gay marriage comment, but then I saw the e-mails between her and the pageant officials (released by Fox News) and she sounds REALLY immature and like she has the chip the size of Texas on her shoulder. Now this. Yeah, she’s beautiful but she’s also making herself and all conservative women look like idiots. I hope she disappears, concentrates on her schooling and comes back in 5-10 years with a renewed perspective on her actions. A 22 year-old chalking stupid things up to her “youth” is like a 200 lb. Oprah referring to her “fat years”.

Very well said Infidoll. I couldn’t agree more with your analysis. She does need to give it a break. She is now just appearing foolish.
I still admire her. She is under attack because she is conservative. No one but no one would speak such visceral, wicked statements as were directed towards
Sarah Palin, for example. But no one but no one would ever say things to our First Lady in the manner in which they spoke of Nancy Reagan, how hokey she was; or the vermin who attacked Sarah Palin.
This woman is very brave.
The Host only said, condescendingly, “… I think she(Sarah Palin)has been criticized…”

Our Media is a disgrace.
She is dealing with the dirt as it shows up. I got her book “Still Standing” and read it, couldn’t put it down. It reveals what goes on in the beauty pageant industry. Carrie is brave, determined, and dealing with the slander thrown her way. This girl is tough, smart, and absolutely gorgeous. Carrie has a right to defend herself and respond to slanders and lies.

I only hope she can encourage more people her age to see the light.
