There’s no place in Amerian politics for the term ‘moderate’.

It was a term created by a Progressive press as a home for stupid people that still want to vote but, for a variety of ‘reasons’, can’t or won’t fight for American values.
Now, in the 21st century, some of them have made it to Congress. Mostly for the payday.

The whole of Federal government has become the sham that Madison and Jefferson said was its only logical end.

True, many of these members will be replaced by Republicans. Yet with the almost super majority currently in the house, it would be much more sustainable long term for there to be fewer Democrats. These Conservarive Democrats will always have expensive, contested races, and take a lot of money from the large pool of potential fundraising money.

This makes no sense. The left are attacking the blue dogs who were basically elected in red districts. Who do they think will replace them? :gun: PROGRESSIVES?

I am all for Conservatives to be in power but in Liberal blue states, a Conservative cannot win. If we try to get rid of Olympia Snowe, she would be replaced by a liberal Democrat which would be far worse. Both sides have to accept the fact that to win elections,it is the moderates from both sides who can win in districts that would usually go for the opposite party.

If the Democrats seek out to destroy the blue dogs,it opens the door for a Republican to take their seat in 2010, not a progressive .
