i had an evil idea – why not leave the afghan problem to russians to deal with – regionally it the only country directly interested in quiet southern front – then russia will crumble just like the USSR did. plus apparently russia is a larges per-capita user of heroin coming from a’stan. i dont know. just a thought.

End what, the fight against the subversion and penetration of the free world? We cannot win an insurgent war unless we plan on being in Afghanistan forever.Our war is with terrorist,so we have to fight a counterrorism war.In this country we are more at risk of violence from south of our border then that of the Taliban,Al-Queda ETC.Bring our troop’s home and place them on our southern border with deadly force authorized with extreme prejudice.An Americans chance of being a victim by Isalamic terrorist is one in 8million compared to one in 800 by a gang member or some other criminal.Fort Hood excluded.We can still use our Special OPs forces around the world for counterterrorism while maintaining security at home while our troop’s refit, retrain and get the medical and mental repairs that may be required.Leaving Afghanistan is not a sign of a lost war.We leave and the Jihadis fight among themselves.Iraq needs the training wheels taken off so they can finally run their own country or we will be there forever.Our departure does not convey defeat as we already won the war.I served in Iraq and my younger brother was Killed in Action there in Jan 09.Unconventional warfare is the future of our warfighting,the rest is just smoke and mirrors.Major crime in our own backyard should be our main priority now.Extreme violence is spilling over our southern border each day.Pheonix Arizona is reporting over 370 drug related kidnappings a year.One per day.If that does’nt alarm you I dont know what would.Fuck the Middle East we have enough enemies to fight here on our native soil.When you and your family is out at night,do you fear Muslim terrorist or some little cowardly gang member committing violence against the ones you love?I dont worry about the Jihadis.It’s time to fight the real enemies here.The Special OPs community can deal with the Tangos on their soil.I look forward to any response,especially the men of the Spec Ops community.2deltaactual out!
