The British public do care passionately about their armed services. This is why the press get so cross when the politicians don’t come up to the mark; it’s an easy win for them. When any war dead are flown back to RAF Lyneham, the whole town of Wootton Bassett line the streets and stand in silence as they pass through. Lost? Don’t think so, mate. But then I think why I really fight and its for my family and friends. And real americans out there that understand what this country is about.
