So, in essence his family is saying his biases didn't enable him to be a loyal American.

Hmm, now how obvious is that?

"The family of the Fort Hood shooting suspect Nidal Hasan is rejecting claims he was linked to Islamist radicals."
What the hell was he doing then contacting Al Qaeda recruiters and hanging out with the jihadists? Gathering material for a research paper or another powerpoint presentation on how to deal with infidels?
Why..Why..Why is it so hard to understand how a man's religion can influence his conduct. Is it because our "elite" are so godless themselves they can't grasp the simplest of religious concepts that would motivate a devout Muslim to act on his beliefs? Infreakingcredible. As a Christian, I honestly believe that I have more in common with Hasan the Muslim on several levels than I would with the likes of Markos Moulitsas, Janeane Garofalo, Kieth Olberman, Chris Matthews, Michael Moore, or General George Casey for that matter with all the other merchants of politically incorrect crap. I can tell you that my religion influences my life in many important ways. I am commanded to love my enemies. Hasan is commanded to kill his. Hasan is no different. Let's stop with patronizing Hasan and minimalizing his religion. HE IS A DEVOUT MUSLIM JIHADI and MUJIHEDDIN WHO WANTED TO DIE AS A MARTYR IN THE WILL OF ALLAH IN ORDER TO OBTAIN FAVOR WITH ALLAH IN PARADISE BY KILLING THE INFIDEL AS OUTLINED IN THE KORAN AND SUPPORTED BY THE HADITH BECAUSE A MUSLIM IS COMMANDED TO LOVE DEATH MORE THAN LIFE, AND THEREBY TO PRACTICE OFFENSIVE JIHAD AGAINST THE INFIDEL UNTIL THE FLAG OF ISLAM (Sharia)FLIES OVER THE WORLD AND ISLAM REIGNS SUPREME. What is so hard to understand about this? Until we understand this, and believe this, we are shadow boxing.
