Ahh fuck, what a couple of assholes.
Tanks didn’t roll, shots weren’t fired and troops weren’t sent in cos President Reagan’s strategy to bankrupt the USSR worked. They were broke, you can start a war much less a military action with an empty treasury.
Lech Walesa, Maggie Thatcher and Pope John Paul II played huge roles, but it would have been for naught if President Reagan hadn’t financially crippled the USSR. PERIOD!
