    Character and principle matter. You are seeing it slaughtered all over the place, while at least one police officer was embraced because they could not explain away what was done that day. They love to barbecue cops, people hate cops – and I am confident they strained in the media with no joy to relate what she decided within seconds to do and never once thought of herself.

    In the middle are countless agents and support people obstructed by a system afraid to confront with courage and honor and selflessness a threat that is not only killing us repeatedly, but the silent killer is career selfish cowardice. It’s grown for decades and it starts with people afraid to make mistakes and a leadership climate that has nothing remotely to do with the definition of leadership.

    America was formed by unmitigated love and selfless sacrifice. This has been carefully, and slowly inverted and we have allowed it to kill us.

    If you want to see what I am talking about, do some research on Johnny Michael Spann, a CIA Officer of selfless love who was brutally executed in Mazar-I-Shariff at the start of this war. This is love of country, this is selflessness and this is character.
