SCOTUS On Sniper Execution: Kill That Mother F-er

Richmond, Va. – The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block Tuesday’s scheduled execution of sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad.

The Court did not comment Monday on why it refused to consider his appeal.

Muhammad is scheduled to die by injection at a Virginia prison for the slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a gas station during a three-week spree in 2002 across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Muhammad and his teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, were also suspected of fatal shootings in other states, including Louisiana, Alabama and Arizona. Malvo is serving a life sentence.

Muhammad still has a clemency petition before Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine.

Muhammad’s attorney, Jonathan Sheldon, says “Virginia will execute a severely mentally ill man who also suffered from Gulf War Syndrome the day before Veterans Day.”

    Why the hell do we execute someone like this on only one count? How are the other families supposed to feel? Hell yeah we should kill this puke, but it should be for all the crimes not just one. He is guilty of all the murders not just the one he is being executed for, this pisses me off, we know he did them all and all those other families never will get the satisfaction this family does. Just have a one day hearing convict him on all counts and kill the son of a bitch. :gun:

      State AG’s strategy. Try him on one, relatively small, but solid count of murder. If that doesn’t get him in the chair, try him on another. Repeat until he’s dead or you run out of things to try him on. In which case, he’ll probably be dead from old age, and will have spent the time in jail anyway.

      I get the strategy, but how screwed up is our law system when you have to resort to this on a case this solid?

      In the old days they used to read off all the things the man was guilty of while walking him to the gallows, why should the families of the other victims not get to see him die in their loved ones justice as well?

    Lock that foolish attorny somewhere and execute the killer as most gruesome killers are insane.To teach a lesson or two, deport that attorny to Waziristan or Afghanistan to get a first hand experience of so called insane people. Showing mercy to pscho killers is simply naive and stupid.
