The last time around we got a metrosexual socialist mulatto who could only vote “present” with a 5 minute resume of experience. I would have voted for Black MEN like Alan Keyes, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, or a host of other black men, even you Mike if you held to honest to God Conservative Principles. I don’t care if all the members of Congress, the President, and the SCOTUS were all black provided they shared my values. I don’t give a tinker’s damn about a MAN’s race but I care deeply about his political philosophy. Obama is an empty suit at best politically. I wish him every success as a father, husband, human being…hell he may even be a nice guy…But from the perspective of an American Constitutionalist who loves life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, he and his ilk are from the nether regions. They need to be forced back into obscurity.

You know, I had a genuine post-racial feeling with this guy- not empty rhetoric like Obama, seemed to me he was largely focused on issues/campaigns… so what’s THIS all about?
I’ve defended him on my blog more than once and gave him the complete benefit of the doubt, too- although a bit out of his depth, I thought he’d grow into the job- I like his personality, and hey- at least the guy’s got a sense of humor.
But after NY-23 I lost most respect for him… that’s largely his fault for letting it go down like that– he’s the boss, and it was botched, that’s all I know.

Frankly, I never realized the color of Steele’s skin while I felt that he was not the best choice for the party and, behold, he was African-American. It’s not his skin, it’s the color of his ideas that are not viable for the GOP. In fact, I felt as if he was a “plant” for the Democrats. I’m not sure where this guy is from and I have no ill will or “hate” for this dude. He’s basically a middle of the road Democrat.
I’m not sure why the GOP got him this gig. And I’m beginning to think that Steele may be the reason why the GOP is in the shape they are in.
So…having said all that, I think he is a “Manchurrian” type dude design to infiltrate the conservative party (Actually is no more conservative than a local ACORN office) to further destroy the “right” I say, get a new GOP leader NOW…..
