The Conservative Tsunami: It’s Coming
Nov 12, 2009 4 Comments ›› Snooper
The conservative tsunami is coming. Get ready. The tsunami will be for true democrats, true conservatives and true independents. It won’t be a good thing for the elite politician that thinks “the will of Congress will be done”. It isn’t about “we the congress”, people. It will be the “will of the people”.
We The People will crush the usurpers. We The People will crush the Pelosis. We The People will crush the Reids. We The People will crush the Obamas. We the People will crush the enemy and the enemy are the usurpers of the United States Constitution. Get ready. The enemy’s time is at hand an d their doom is readily present.
Rick Moran at American Thinker: A year out, anti-incumbent tide is growing
[...] This confirms what other polls, including Gallup, have discovered; the voters believe nothing is working, nothing is being done, and they’re mad as hell about it.
That sentiment is only bound to get worse as unemployment continues to rise and the voters begin to realize just how bad a boondoggle national health insurance is. With independents abandoning the Democrats, the prospects for solid, even spectacular gains by Republicans in 2010 are becoming more realistic. [...]
Pat Dollard: The Base Hits Both Parties In The Wallet
In a sign of deep discontent with the Washington political establishment, restive activists in both parties are taking out their frustrations on the Democratic and Republican campaign committees and hitting party leaders where it hurts — in the pocketbook. [...]
Kyle-Anne Shiver at American Thinker: Tea Parties: Misunderstood and Vastly Underrated
Tea Partiers are NOT republicans. Nor are they democrats or independents. They are We The People and we have had enough of the usurpers in DC. Will of the congress be damned.
Elected officials of every political stripe ought to be shaking down to their Gucci loafers and pumps. History is forming and firming up harder than the proverbial brick wall right outside their congressional glass house. Yet they seem utterly oblivious.
Since last April, I’ve written a few columns on the Tea Parties, but I had never actually attended one in person. I harbored a few misconceptions, formed at a distance through the media’s drive-by lens. Being a woman who tends to cower in crowds and who loves the security and solitude of my little office-cloister, I had been content to write based on the observations of others. But an Alabama homemaker-turned-activist, Suzanne Green of Birmingham, pulled me into the bosom of the Tea Party movement along with the Rainy Day Patriots.
And, honey, I’m here to tell you, it’s a fiery hot bosom indeed. [...]
AMEN! And, it is about time. But, why is it about time? Perhaps it’s the unemployment that we were all told not to worry about? 10.2%? The largest since Carter?
How’s this one? Jim Hoft: Dems Do the Impossible: US Unemployment Rate Now Tops Europe
Isn’t that just GREAT? Our unemployment is above Europe and how did Europe get there? Socialism. That’s how. And what has Europe been doing in recent years? Moving towards Capitalism. That’s what and our politicos are doing what? Morons.
Next are two posts that see the unemployment moving to above 12%…
Pat Dollard: 12 Reasons Why Unemployment Is Going To Hit At Least 12%
A full 12-step program is at Reuters and it is very telling…on The One and his inept ways and means. Go read the list.
Rick Moran at American Thinker: 12 reasons why unemployment will top 12% – or higher
Rick didn’t do what Pat Dollard did but he did signify which parts of the 12-step program mean to him and quite possibly you.
[...] The Democrats will make a supreme effort to blame this on Bush. I think it a losing proposition but it’s really all they have. Because if America blames the Democrats for 12% unemployment, it is almost a certainty that the GOP will make dramatic, perhaps even historic gains in 2010.
Whether the Republicans can take full advantage of the opportunity and flip the House is another question. There are only so many Democratic vulnerables and the GOP would have to win nearly all of them to take control. But if things are going to get worse between now and election day, it very well may stampede the voters into kicking the bums out and giving the Republicans a chance to see what they can do. [...]
Kick all 535 cretins out in the next two elections and start all over again. But, what does all of this really mean? What about a full 17.5% unemployment? Like where it really is right now?
Amy Proctor: True US Unemployment Rate Stands at 17.5%
With the release of the jobs report on Friday, the broadest measure of unemployment and underemployment tracked by the Labor Department has reached its highest level in decades. If statistics went back so far, the measure would almost certainly be at its highest level since the Great Depression.
In all, more than one out of every six workers — 17.5 percent — were unemployed or underemployed in October. The previous recorded high was 17.1 percent, in December 1982.
This includes the officially unemployed, who have looked for work in the last four weeks. It also includes discouraged workers, who have looked in the past year, as well as millions of part-time workers who want to be working full time.
Great? Great. Good job defeatocramps. Good job.
Or, what about this reason the conservative tsunami is rising? Chicago Ray: Ten most troubled states in the U.S.ARE NEARLY ALL Run By Liberal Legislatures. WOW! Who would have thought this? Oh. Wait. I have been for at least 30 years. Go to Chicago Ray’s place and take a look at the pictures/graphs. Then you tell me why the libtards should ever be in power again, no matter which party they are affiliated with.
The times are achangin’ and it couldn’t have happened to a better disadministration that we have now…
Clarice Feldman: Bush starting to look better already
Nine some months out of office, and the miserable job Obama is doing has started to rehabilitate the reputation of George W. Bush.
Hill Buzz is a blog by Hillary fans. An amazing article is found here, where they take back what they said about the Bushes and Cheney, and blast Obama for his conduct re Ft. Hood. They even thank GW and Laura and Cheney for the way they handled everything since 9/11 and for comforting the Ft. Hood survivors.
The times, they are a changin’.
OUCH. Bush? I never would have believed it but, damn. She’s right.
