Vets On The Hill - A New Start?
I am Sick and Tired of what is going on in DC and around this Nation in the realm of politics. It’s disgusting. About 60 of us joined together on a spur of the moment Vets On The Hill. We were staunch and upright and spoke the Truth. The pictures will be coming, trust me.
We spoke to hundreds of Congress “personnel” either in the presence of the actual Congressmen, their aides, their little flunkies and some wet behind the ears people that actually thought they knew what they were all about. Well? They had no clue.
I am Sick and Tired of hearing the usual garbage of “we have to wait and see” about one thing or another. This was my fourth (or fifth) trip to DC to speak the Truth about the battles being waged in Iraq but primarily at this time in Afghanistan.
Did you all know that the French actually fly around on patrols…with zero munitions? Did you know that? What is that all about?
Did you all know that the Germans have decided to actually not do anything? I mean they flit about inside their camps and do not leave their camps?
Did you know that the alleged “safe zones” are not safe and sound?
Did you know that what I call “Route 1″ around Afghanistan is being systematically surrounded? Remember what was going on in Iraq before the Troop Surge? Do you remember what happened just before the Troop Surge was even started? No? Let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen.
We can win the war against the Taliban, Obama’s most favored terrorist organization if and only if the Afghanistan Troop Surge is actual?
We spoke with Congressmen Hunter at a meeting just before we took the Hill. It was incredible. We can win this “insurgency” in Afghanistan. We can and we will. You know those little wet behind the ears people that “advise” the Congressmen? Let me tell you about some other very young men that attended the Vets On The Hill.
These Soldiers, Marines and Naval men and women know more about the United States than the rest of the creatures in DC. They know what’s going on in Afghanistan and they know they can win. Several times I heard this:
“I will support any politician that will look me in the eyes and tell me that they will help our people. I will fight tooth and nail for you and with you. If you lie to me, your ass is grass.”
When was the last time someone in DC said that to the alleged Leaders of this Nation?
A machine gunner that just returned from Afghanistan said that there wasn’t a single mission that he was on that he failed there and wants to know what in the world is going on.
I heard many men say that we are tired of the “bullshit” that the Congress is attempting to do and that pathetic pandering and subsequent “diversion” is a major mistake and will be your death bed. This was spoken to Jon Cornyn…I was in the room when this was spoken and Pete Hegseth said right after:
“That about says it all”
Truth was spoken about the war in Afghanistan and now the war in Pakistan. The Taliban were kicked out of Afghanistan in record time and someone decided that the UN and NATO were going to be the huge cure-all, a bad mistake. We need to “change” things, as it were. You have heard about Hopenchange?

You can thank the news media for this and so much more.Its the media that caused broken familys ,drug use political correctness low moral standards who supported abortion who will destroy the lives of anyone that dare to disagree with their sick views. If the media had not been cooking the news to fit their own agenda for the last forty years the U.S.A. and the west would not be in the mess its in. Whats sad is we now know what they are doing and we are doing nothing about it,

I was talking with a few friends of mine recently about the corruption and arrogance of DC. Their belief was that very soon there would be a political rebellion movement that would split the USA into at least 2 separate countries. The message is that there is only so much that people will tolerate from Washington and it is hitting a peak.
The ruling elite of this Nation don’t give a rabid rat’s ass about Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, or, in fact, for anyone who needs to work for a living.
We are being ruled — NOT goverened — by a class of people who have figured out a way to make a living without working, and they will do anything to preserve their lifestyle.
OUR NUCLEAR OPTION:

Zeek - You got that right. I think the entire poltical machine of professional politicians needs to be sent packing and replaced by people who will rescind all of the fat pensions and free healthcare those filthy bastards have voted for themselves over the past 100 years. Lobbying should be illegal and Lobbyists need to be jailed for bribery. We need citizen politicians who will represent their voters and not these idiots from the big population centers.

Though I have to correct you on the French going on patrols “supposed” without amunitions :
Before the 2008 august ambush, they were counted, also because the French weren’t supposed to patrol in a dangerous aera when it happened, Italians had no attacks then, (now we know why)
Since then a considerable effort was made to supply our troops with air helps, helicopters, drones, planes, also on the ground, modern VAB… etc. were brought to them. Also elder paratroopers chiefs were dloyed there too, cuz, most of the victims were fresh “blue” soldiers, that just had a few training experience in Chad, cot comparable to Afghanistan
