When did Law and Order decide to make all these political rants anyway? Lately they have been bashing conservatives using the veil of “entertainment” – never realizing that their show is so ultra-violent that poor Marishka Hargitay had to take a sabbatical because the show was “getting to her” too much.

Glad to see Beck firing back, now, must resist urge to go hang a tax-man, heh.

This is the reason I have not owned a TV for thirty years. TV is nothing more than a bucket of slime. Even the history and nature programs have a leftist agenda

Isn’t this show sort of proof that not all of television has a leftist agenda?

Same here richwill. The only thing I use a tv for is to watch a movie from NetFlix once in a while. Movies that are worth sitting down for a couple of hours to watch are rare these days.

No tv in this house for 10 years. Maybe that s why we aren’t duped?

What is funny, The guy talking about Rush and Beck is talking to Ice-T. You know the guy who sang? About killing cops. Law and Order lost it about 5 years ago. Why is that shit still on?

Who the fuck watches that shit anyway?

The problem here is this: It doesn’t matter what YOU watch. Y’all have obviously done something in getting rid of your tvs – that I couldn’t do. The issue is that many, many mindless people without the ability to critically think WATCH this stuff. Which is why we got Obama in the first place.

Every person on this board can get rid of their television but it’s not going to help the Country in the end because too many people cannot see the “hidden” agenda within the television show itself. I’m probably younger than most on this board and you’d be extremely surprised at how many people form their political views based on television, The Daily Show, Rolling Stone magazine, etc…

Whenever I attempt to debate these people, I usually get a flustered, nonsensical response that tells me that they can read articles and receive emotional propaganda from television; however, they CANNOT defend the issues with real and practical facts. I get, “well the Earth is warming” or “people are dying because they don’t have insurance.” That’s usually it – an emotional, non-factual response to an intelligent question about the philosophy of their political viewpoints.
