This is an outrage. An 8 year old draws a picture of Jesus and he is suspended? Why? Would he have been suspended if he drew a picture of a naked woman or a couple having sex? I doubt it. The picture would have won a school award.

Way to read up, fellas. This is a nontroversy. The kid says that he drew himself on the cross, not Jesus. Who doesn’t see that as fucked up? This prompted the school psychologist to do an evaluation, as the teachers all thought this was a “cry for help.” The kid actually wasn’t suspended, as per a statement by the school.
