Did anyone notice that while Behar and Bernhardt were bashing Palin’s fans for not reading they used incorrect grammar by using “her” instead of she as the subject of the sentence. Brilliant.
Or the irony of a “T.V. Star” trying to convince her viewing drooling zombie masses, of the illiteracy of the fans of a woman with a New York Times Best Seller. But looking at her guests on the show, its pretty safe to assume she lives in “Bizarro World”.
“Maybe her and Glenn Beck on the same ticket.”
“Maybe she and Glenn Beck on the same ticket.”
Behar was correct.
Her statement began, “Do you think she’ll run in 2012? Maybe her and Glenn Beck on the ticket. [Hand gesture] Down the toilet…”
Behar used the appropriate feminine personal subject pronoun in the first sentence, followed by a suitable verb, establishing the theme and context of her message. She then used a sentence fragment to continue that thought, adding more specific definition (naming both Palin and the VP running mate, Glenn Beck). As the second sentence was a sentence fragment–and most people do this in the spontaneity of speech, particularly when in dialogue with others–there was no need to employ a verb in a prepositional phrase. For example: “Do you think we’ll ever find the toolbox? Before Dad gets home. Probably drunk, as usual…”
The rules and guidelines of formally structured grammar are always relaxed for casual and spontaneous speech.
If it makes you feel any better, Behar is still a carpet-munching commie skank.

My brother in law lived across the street fron Bernhardt in La for 4 years and I had the unfortunate exoeriance of being in her presence at various times .
