We’ll probably never know. He/she was probably spirited away by feds or CIA and debriefed immediatly….before he/she could speak to the media and take any bows for his/her action.

Actually his name is Jasper Schuringa, a Dutch national from Amsterdam. He was on his way to Miami for a vacation and to visit his American friends. CNN just had an interview iwth him. (yuck, every time I see that network, I remember why I can’t stand the left wing media!)

It said somewhere, I think I saw it in one of the news videos, that he mixed the components of the explosive in flight.
If the device was supposed to go BOOM!, he messed up the recipe somehow.
If the device was supposed to incinerate the interior then he screwed-up on his timing for certain and probably the recipe.
