      Not to beat a dead horse here Tallman, but are you suggesting that the behavior he was engaged in when he died, i.e. chasing his girlfriend-beating on her truck as she drove, was an example of said “cleaning up his life”?

      I guess my point is that 6 months of better behavior, doesn’t make a life, and there is no way to know whether this man’s life wouldn’t have come unravelled.

      Oops, my bad, yes there is, he died while acting like a fool.

      It’s a shame, but that’s life.

      I guess he should have taken things more seriously.

      If being a “self-righteous asshole” equates to not having a criminal record, or having been given 10 to 15 “second chances” for offenses that would have the average man jailed or unemployed, then I am guilty as charged.
      “Cleaned his life up”??? I defer to Terry Tates point. More likely than not he was only recently emulating being civilized because he knew he stood to lose millions if he didnt, and I seriously doubt a Fourtune 500 company would hire him, even with all his qualifications and his resume’ :roll:

      Fuck this guy and the 100s of other atheletes just like him. Who gives a shit if he was “cleaning up”, he wasn’t clean and he died because of it. Boo fuckin hoo. This asshole pissed his life away, fuck him. I feel bad for troops with PTSD and children with chronic illnesses, not super stars who piss it all away.

    The NFL had their obligatory moments of silence over the weekend for this guy. Surely its a sad time for his family and his friends on the team that he did not ostracize. Other than making millions to score touchdowns, what did he ever do for the greater good? NADA!

    We did not lose Martin Luther King or Mother Teresa here. One of his sentencing judges called him a “one man crimewave”. Save the public mourning for the Fort Hood victims and all those who willingly put themselves into harms way to protect our freedoms.
