Why am I not surprised – every city in America that is run by progressives, liberals, etc are tanking and tanking very badly. If there were ever a model for how not to operate a city government, it should be these cities.

When you pander to the lazy special interest groups, who by the way never contribute anything but take away, you are doomed to failure. This is why good honest people who work, pay taxes and raise their children are leaving California in droves. This is the reverse of the Western expansion in the late 1800s.

I live about 2 hours south of San Fran and the city itself is beautiful, (buildings, waterfront etc) but the homeless problem, the needle exchange and the public homosexual activity keep a lot of people away.

Check out the Fulton Street Fair and how Miller Genuine Draft is a major sponsor of a gay leather street fair. Nasty beyond belief.
