Lt. Behenna should never have been charged in the first place. Goddamn the liberal JAG lawyers for this.
The U.S. military trains our warriors to kill the enemy yet when they do they prosecute them.
The lawyers and officers that allowed this travesty to happen should themselves be brought up on charges.
Or set free in an unsecured area of Afghanistan.

This is one way of prolonging it. Demoralize the US Military.
Prolonging the crisis creates more opportunity to erode our liberty. Be it the war on terror, global warming or whatever.

The Army needs some serious change; like getting rid of all the “starred” politicians and replacing them with Warfighters. This “corporate” mentality that invaded the Army back in the 80s is doing nothing but destroying the finest fighting force to march the face of the earth. I’ve seen this shit coming since I was commissioned back in the late 70s and knew very well what the outcome would be; indictment and prison for our soldiers and getting off “Scott Free” for enemy combatants and terrorists.
