Edmond Soldier Convicted of Killing Detainee Receives Reduced Sentence

He was NOT a “detainee” either. Judas H Priest!

First Lt. Michael Behenna

News9.com

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Army’s Clemency and Parole Board has reduced the sentence of an Edmond soldier convicted of murdering an Iraqi detainee, according to Rep. Mary Fallin’s office.

First Lt. Michael Behenna was charged with killing an Iraqi detainee in September 2008. The Army’s Clemency and Parole Board decided to reduce the sentence by five years for the second time.

The latest reduction brings the original 25-year-sentence down to 15 years.

Earlier this month Vicki Behenna and several family members made a trip to Washington D.C. to speak on her son’s behalf at a hearing before the board.

In May 2009 Behenna’s mother, Vicki Behenna said prosecutors withheld key evidence in the trial and asked the state’s congressional delegation to investigate her son’s case. The Behennas filed an appeal in December 2009.

First Lt. Michael Behenna is currently serving his sentence at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

:gun: Fucking disgusting. I cannot believe this. I can’t even blog because my anger is so great. The terrorists behead us, hang and burn our men and this patriot sits in a jail cell.

We need to change this country and this administration has to gooooooooooooooo

  • http://militias.ning.com/ rosie

This is not acceptable. At all. What can we do?? Who can get this changed? Who needs pressure applied??

Hiding from Obama and his thugs?

  • jh

This is bull shit, bull shit , bull shit

  • andonandon

The real pisser is the government had an expert witness that could support the defense and they wouldn’t let him testify! Those prosecutors should be in jail.

    • http://holgerawakens.blogspot.com Holger Awakens

Does anyone have the full name of the female prosecutor in this case? I missed it the night that Pat interviewed Vicki Behenna.

What absolute filth these people are. It’s like they crawled up from the caverns of Hell with the sole purpose of sucking the life out of every righteous sole on earth.

    sorry i meant soul

  • http://militias.ning.com/ rosie

So whose neck do we need to put our boots on? Everybody has a boss. How much exposure has this story had? I’m kind of new to it.

  • Phil Byler

The prosecutorial misconduct here is outrageous. You just don’t do what they did. The prosecutors did because there was a need to achieve a politically correct result.

I tell you that political correctness at the Pentagon is really very thick. We need to get back the White House so that, among many, many things, we clean out the Pentagon bureaucracy.

  • DiamondRing

Why do I get a sinking feeling the info they withheld would not only clear this soldier, but also reveal something else, so big that so the powers that be had to pick somone to hang … happens all the time. Power in numbers, connect with the other military families who are in similar situations, get them to help with the signatures, get the social networking going everywhere, get a legal team that won’t let up and will keep banging – loud and nasty and mean – on doors every single day. That’s the only language this Admin understands, loud, nasty, mean, bullying. Follow the money, follow the money, follow the money… if all that fails you know the Oval will snap up a monetary bribe faster than you can say “BarryBribe”. Perhaps that’s what they are waiting for. You’ll need one of their sleazy drug dealing lobbyists then. Or a connected Chicago Islamic terror financier.

  • PDizzle

Mike 3481, Casey isn’t hidding from the President. He was busy being concerned about a backlash against muslims. And, as I have said before, this cannot be laid at the feet of President Obama. This is George Bush’s doing. He allowed JAG to go after the Haditha Marines, LTC Chessani, the Border Patrol agents, LT Pantano and the Blackwater contractors from Nisoor Square. We need to elect people who will protect their troops and we need military officers who care about their troops, not their careers. The occupant of the White House does not matter. And we need to start making these JAG officers and CID agents famous.

    • Phil Byler

I agree with PDizzle’s comment to the extent that the political correctness problem certainly did not begin with Obama; GW Bush does have responsibility here. Where I differ is that I think that the occupant of the White House can matter for the good or for the worse. Obama will make the problem of political correctness at the Pentagon worse. A conservative Republican could correct the correctness. Don’t think that Ronald Reagan did not make things better when he started talking about the honor of serving in Vietnam.

    • Padraigs Ghost

I am a retired Army Reservist and former CID Agent. I take grave exception to your remarks. I have also contributed to 1st LT Behenna’s defense and been in contact with my elected representives on his behalf asking them to look into the case. I don’t even live in Oklahoma. I also have contributed to LTC Chessani’s defense through the Thomas Moore Law Center. CID Agents are always the bad guys and the buddy f@%kers until it is your son, daughter, mother, father, brother, or sister who was raped, robbed, murdered, etc. Then it is our job to bring the perp to justice. We are like Kippling’s “Tommy Atkin’s” poem, it’s a thin red line of hero’s when the drums begin to roll…

Michael Behenna does not deserve to be in the USDB for what he did. He stood up for his soldiers and he is a hero to me. Michael Behenna is a modern day Breaker Morant. We as soldiers must fight for our fellow soldiers sailors, marines, airmen, and coast guardsmen for those currently in power will not.

Rules of engagement, no press in combat. :gun: :gun: :gun:

    • MohammedSucksHogCock

New Rule of Engagement: If you see someone holding a camera or a notebook, blow their fucking head off.

    • Reloader449

Well, unless their names are Michael Yon or Pat Dollard. Don’t shoot those two.

  • babs

Something MUST be done… this is sick.

  • Annie Oakley

We need to follow the tactics of the left – Code Pink, ActUp, etc. We Patriots are too nice. We’re going to have to storm the courthouses, massive sit ins, etc, in the Oklahoma area to get people to pay attention.

This is a man from my home state, Oklahoma. It pains me deeply that this is happening. I’m going to contact my family in OK and see if they cannot put together a massive protest demonstration in the street and raise hell.

I remember as a kid the hippies protesting the Vietnam war. They shut down the streets, businesses, raised hell, you name it, they did it.

This is precisely what we have to do about this man. We cannot let him rot in jail, we cannot.

  • GRIZZ

Michael Savage has started a fund for this fine man.Give what you can

  • MinneSoCold

Savage had his mom, Vicki on last night again, sounds like word is spreading and money is flooding in to his defense fund.
    http://defendmichael.wordpress.com/

She asked people to write her son. Let him know he’s not forgotten and we fight for him and his freedom.

We simply cannot allow this to stand. Our fighting patriots deserve better, Michael Behenna deserves better. Don’t let him become a pawn in someone’s political game. Fucking terrorist Hasan is being treated far better than this. This will not stand.

    • http://militias.ning.com/ rosie

I would think that some of the necks to lay our boots on would be the politicians who are up for re-election. That is usually how people get things done. Apply pressure to the neck of an elected official whose time might be up. I’d say they should ALL be dying to come off as a hero to the American People right now :???: , don’t you? So we need to know which of these fish will get the job done for Michael. Anybody??

  • MohammedSucksHogCock

I seem to recall a time when we gave medals to soldiers who killed the enemy.

    • intrepid

      Amen

  • PDizzle

I wish David Hackworth were still alive. He would probably have skull fucked the dirt bags who did this to LT Behenna. And yes, we would have given a medal to this guy in any other war.

    • MohammedSucksHogCock

      I miss George Patton.

  • Average American

How did we let America come to this ?
Those who went after him should be punished
Furthre those in P O W E R that did Shit to stop it
or free him should also be punished. Yo President BO
you said the buck stops her, free him and the navy seals or resign. Commander of chief should be leading not appeasing and pleading
