    If this is supposed to be so anatomically correct, why is Adam’s penis so small? Why does Eve have no breasts? Why is Adam’s head and neck too small for his over-developed body? Who are all the rest of those people supposed to be in the robe?

    I really think this is one of the worst paintings by Michelangelo (just my opinion, of course). It is distorted due to the curvature of the ceiling and the characters have a very flat appearance – very unlike most of Michelangelo’s other works. I read at one time that the pope hated this panel and heavily edited it before it was allowed to be painted. Keep in mind also that most of the art in the Vatican was created in virtual slavery or stolen.

      because it would have given another sense to the picture, at the limits of pornography, especially in a chapel. (Also it is notorious that Michaelangelo was a gay, probably that that that was a reverse psychology manifestation to not emphasize on the penis, being gay wasn’t well perceived in thes times).

      Now if you find that that Michaelangelo drawings are distortionned, or flat, it’s because his work was ment to be watch from the ground, and not from a proxy photo on your screen, idem for sculptures in churches capitals

    first of all drawing a 10 inch cock would be just obscene :) everybody would stand at awe – look, its a huge cock..and then would see the rest of painting. but then i got several theories. Well first – in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were naked, cause they didnt know better, thing called innocence, utill that talking snake with apple incident. Second, well, more down to earth theory, Adam is unclothed, thus its cold, hence the shrinking. and third – look at most of statues and paintings from way back, even when Greeks painted the ceramic jars and plates – they didnt ephasize on that sbject. just the gender. and esthetics, i guess.

    as far as Beck goes, he might be emotional sometimes but always on spot, no need to radicule him for his way of expressing himself, and conveying information that most of it appeared to be true. just name one thing that he said, and was bs.

      If as evolutionists say, we all came from the sea, that might also explain Adam’s appearance. And Mkl&gelos is making a crude attempt to convey that message. :roll:
