Steele is just window-dressing for a (still!)apologetic, absolving, republican party. He was installed as RNC Chair for the sole and express purpose of countering Obama’s skin color–only. Republicans were practicing “me-too” politics, in short.
Steele is just one of those slick-talking, inside-the-beltway politicos, playing that same old game.
People, we Constitutionalists are being squeezed in the middle by progressive libs on one end, and jihadi muslims on the other. Either Steele recognize this, or he should quit.
